About GameShopFinder

GameShopFinder is a free, no-signup directory of local game stores (LGS) and trading card shops across the United States. We cover every major TCG — Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, One Piece Card Game — plus smaller competitive communities like Flesh and Blood, Star Wars Unlimited, Digimon, Weiss Schwarz, and KeyForge.

Why we built this

Every existing LGS directory is frustrating. Wizards of the Coast's official store locator hasn't been meaningfully updated since 2014. FindYourLGS and similar sites list shops but don't surface what matters: WPN certification tier, weekly event schedules, Pokémon League status, games actually stocked. Yelp is generic and doesn't understand TCG. We built GameShopFinder to be the directory a player actually wants — data-rich, fast, and honest about what we know.

Data methodology

Shop records are aggregated from three public-data sources:

• Google Places API — address, hours, phone, website, rating, and review count
• Wizards Play Network — WPN tier (Core, Advanced, Advanced Plus, Premium) and MTG event support
• Pokémon Play! — official Pokémon League hosting status

We do not scrape private data, fabricate listings, or publish shops that don't verify against public records.
